Years of collecting vintage grain-sacks & fabric remnants too beautiful not to have – lead to this endeavor. While waiting to win the lottery, a throw-pillow is the fastest way to spice it up. Some remnants allow for more than one – when pieced together, an impeccable detail taking: “no waste” to a new level.

Made-to-measure vintage French linen inserts are filled with: 100% recycled & hypoallergenic organic wool, from Germany & Spain. The 50x50cm (20x20in) inserts are filled with shredded fast fashion, no longer fit to wear. Spritzed with a light lavender essential oil spray (we make). Ribbons, replace buttons and zippers. Adjust them - fully stuffed or less dramatic. You choose - do you. Inserts are included, it’s annoying if they’re not. If you already have one, please reuse it, as it’s probably polyester and not biodegradable.

We didn’t forget our BFF. Dogs beds were throughout the house, and not so pretty. A durable, neutral color, and easy to wash was the answer to our packs prayers. Handmade inserts stuffed with shredded fast-fashion. Hidden tie closures, for easy removal and a quick wash and dry. Grain-sacks are heavy duty in nature – we washed and dried them with lavender a few times, assuring for sweet dreams.

Suede and leather remnants from Italy’s best tanneries, feel like butter. The colored band design started out of practicality – to take full advantage of the remnants (we’d leave too much unused for a solid color cushion). Surprise, we preferred the unique color combinations of each. Overstuffed or fine. Mon at Nubuckcuir lovingly created each one in her studio outside Barcelona.
